Fine Art
Art tells the story of who we are without speaking.
Womb With a View
Acrylic on Canvas
A painting of my ultrasound.
Benny and the Jets
Acrylic on Canvas
An abstracted take of my time I roomed with my cousins in college. There were 3 of us and every room was painted in bold colors. Lime green, yellow, orange and a red kitchen. The white lines represent our paths shifting directions.
Hair Today. Gone Tomorrow.
Acrylic | Glass Beads | Human Hair on Canvas
The hair was sourced from the prisoners I keep in my basement. I'm kidding of course. I don't have a basement.
Allegory of Brenda
Oil on Canvas
A representation of my mother and her spiritual journey through life.
Anxiety
Acrylic on Canvas
That familiar feeling.
Mojo's Convergence
Acrylic on Canvas
Painted with a dripping technique. Created shortly after my wedding. The near complimentary colors are a symbol our almost opposite personalities.
Mama Mia
Acrylic on Canvas
A celebration of Mia Farrow's feminine grace in the Great Gatsby.
Recreation of Alice Neal's "Virgil"
Oil on Canvas
Untitled (Seeing Stars)
Screen Print on Paper
Booby Goblin
Pencil on Paper
A visual representation of my breast cancer. The goblin is an insidious, evil monster, a thief, and ugly to the core. Imagining her was a way to cope with what happened. This was my first drawing after my 16 year hiatus.
How Does Your Garden Grow
Pencil on Paper
The Booby Goblin returns. This drawing signifies the garden I planted with my son between my mastectomy and reconstruction. Gardening was a very therapeutic way to deal with my experience, and contributed to the feeling of leaving another legacy. Spending that quality time with my son was very meaningful.
Duality
Pencil on Paper
The duality of my astrological sign reflected in my cancer experience.
Goblin's Bounty
Pencil on Paper
A take on a classic still life. Now with a goblin AND boobs!
Fighter
Pencil on Paper
A symbol of what helped get me through my breast cancer journey.
Oh, Fuck It
Pencil on Paper
Sometimes that's all you can say.
Full Blood Moon
Oil on Canvas
I was inspired by the 2022 blood moon eclipse. It was so bright and so beautiful that the goblin needed to try and destroy it, obviously.
